The Chinese Terracotta Army

The Chinese Terracotta Army is one of the greatest discoveries in the 20th Century.
It served as the afterlife army of Emperor Qin, from whom China got its name. It was discovered by farmers in 1974 in Xi'an China.
The exhibition held at the Museum of Islamic Arts in 2016 is part of the Qatar and China cultural exchange program.
Seeing these original ancient figures is truly a once in a lifetime experience which gave us goosebumps as we examine the statues.
Indeed no two figures look alike.
As always, we extend our sincerest appreciation to MIA for the opportunity to
visit the exhibition for FREE. one of the greatest discoveries in the 20th Century.
